Is Your Data Platform Agent-Ready? Most Aren't. Here's Why
The dashboard era was built for a different consumer. Agents don't work like that. An agent doesn't open a dashboard. It asks questions, chains decisions together, and acts. It needs to understand what a 'customer' means in your business, not just query a table called dim_customer. It needs to know whether the data it's looking at is fresh enough to trust, whether it's allowed to use it, and what happened upstream to produce it.

The Mythical Man-Month strikes back: why throwing bodies at cloud migrations still fails in 2026
Fred Brooks told us in 1975 that adding people to a late software project makes it later. Fifty years on, we are relearning that lesson, this time with AI copilots and aggressive migration timelines. Executives see a Copilot demo and assume migration velocity is solved. It is not. AI accelerates the easy 60%. The hard 40% is tribal knowledge, undocumented rules, and stakeholder complexity. No copilot fixes that.
